Camacho-Quinn Runs Third-Fastest All-Conditions Women's 100m Hurdles; Davis-Woodhall Snags LJ Victory On Final Attempt; Coleman Holds Off Lyles

Elite fields sailed through windy conditions and posted eye-popping times Sunday at the USATF Bermuda Grand Prix. 

High quality competition returned to the island of Bermuda, where a handful of global medalists continued their journey to national and world championships this summer. 

Jasmine Camacho-Quinn of Puerto Rico ran the third-fastest all-conditions women's 100-meter hurdles when she crossed the line in 12.17 seconds. The wind reading was +3.5 m/s. 

Still, it was an indication that the Tokyo Olympic champion has been things in store for 2023.

Only reigning World champion Tobi Amusan of Nigeria, who ran a wind-aided 12.06 to win the gold medal in July at Hayward Field in Eugene, Ore., after clocking a wind-legal 12.12 in the semifinals to achieve a new world record, has been faster than Camacho-Quinn.

In the men's 100 meters, Christian Coleman ran 9.78 seconds with a 4.4 m/s tailwind and nearly got caught by Noah Lyles, who chased from behind and hit the finish line in 9.80. 

In the women's long jump, Tara Davis-Woodhall came up with a clutch sixth attempt of 23 feet, 4 inches/7.11m (+2.1) to overtake Quanesha Burks, who jumped 23-1.25/7.04m (+2.9) on her third jump. 

Likewise, Laquan Nairn of the Bahamas jumped 27-3.75 (8.32m) on his final attempt to unseat Steffin McCarter, who jumped 27-0w (8.23m) twice. 

Abby Steiner ran to a victory in the women's 200 meters, clocking 22.06 (+3.1). 

Jamal Britt won the men's 110-meter hurdles in 12.99 (+4.0). 

Tamari Davis won the women's 100 meters with a wind-legal 10.91 (+2.0). 

In the men's triple jump, Will Claye bounded to 57-3 (17.45m) with a +3.1 wind reading on his second attempt. Two-time Olympic champion Christian Taylor placed fourth. 

Steven Gardiner of the Bahamas won the men's 400 meters in 44.42 seconds. 

OIivia Baker won the women's 800 in 2:03.15.
